Agreed. The burger is a meh mediocre fast food burger and the fries are trash. Someone told me that you have to order the fries “animal style.”
If you have to redeem your fries by ordering them in a secret, off the menu way, your food sucks.

I don't eat fast food burgers very often, but I've had W-A-B a few times. Each time, the burger was very good. The lettuce was so fresh and crisp. I was impressed for a fast food burger. I had a smashburger from Sonic in February and it was quite good as well. First burger I've ever had from Sonic.

Go for breakfasts jalapeño cheddar chicken biscuit is where it’s at.

As with all fast food burger joints, quality varies from location to location, but in general, What-A-Burger and Culver's are my two favorite places. Jack's is decent too, but they are mostly in Alabama. Del Taco has a surprisingly good burger too.

Don’t know about any of the other places, and haven’t tried in years, but WAB will cook burgers for breakfast or at least used to.

On spring break in the 80’s we’d always stop at WAB in Ft Walton Beach on the drive in. So good back then but so was most everything else.

Double meat w/cheese & jalapenos, please.

It is the best fast food sandwich. Though a bit spicy.

Popeyes chicken, either regular or spicy

It tastes like ground beef with onions, tomatoes, and their sauce. I’m not sure what you’re expecting it to taste like

Go spicy chicken sandwich, add a second fillet. Add bacon, grilled jalapeno, and cheese.

This may be the most fat kid thing I’ve heard in a long time, but I’m intrigued.

It tasted like none of that. I expected some flavor, but it didn’t have any.

Whataburger is my favorite large chain fast food burger. The Sweet & Spicy and Pico de Gallo burger are good.

Though to be honest, I think my favorite thing on their menu was their grilled chicken tacos. A shame they took those off the menu.

Also, weird that I like their grilled chicken, but their breaded/fried chicken is just terrible, in my opinion.

Overrated AF

Would much prefer a whataburger

The burgers at a lot of gas station grills are better than all fast food burgers

Anyone that thinks Whataburger is good has obviously never had a real juicy burger. They are dry and tasteless. I can name a dozen places in my town that have better burgers.

I had a prime rib burger from Freddy's steak burger and it was awesome. Whataburger is horrible. I would pick a Burger King whopper over a dry Whataburger anyday.

My favorite burgers from What-a-Burger were in Texas and in Destin.

The What-a-burger in Lafayette is trash.

This is exactly my story when we went for the rose bowl LSU game in 2022.

Same exact story. Overrated and the worst fried of all time. Soggy and crap. The best part was the low price of it all
