Take her to a nice buffet. Ryan's and Golden Corral both offer steak on the weekends I believe. And to save addtional monies remember the wisdom of Cousin Eddie, "it's a buffet Clark, we're only required one plate".

good lord you guys are assholes.

Not everyone can drop more than $100.00 on a meal. Hell, some people can't even come close to that number.

He really should just give up on the idea of having to go have a steak. To get a good steak, it is going to cost money.

Maybe he could try some of the good Italian restaurants. It isn't hard to get plates for $15-$25 I wouldn't think.

I can't

We were under the impression that he was going to Texas Roadhouse. For a family get together, cool. For a 10 year anniversary?

I kinda admire the guy. I wish my wife thought that a place where it is perfectly acceptable to throw food on the floor was good enough for an anniversary dinner.

I like Does a lot. If the wife's an easy going casual type, I really think you can't go wrong there.

Shake off the food snob haters.

Unemployment at 10% means many people can't spend like the regular OT baller.

There is no roadhouse in DS.. Did you mean Longhorn?

I know my last trip to Stroubes I had a prime NY strip steak and my wife had shrimp and grits and an appetizer and my bill with tip was just under 100.

Longhorn would probably run you about 60-75. Its only 25 more for your 10th anniversary..

It's the interwebz.

*Seriously, if you lay off the booze you can probably skate out of most any place for around $100.

*I've never personally laid off the booze so the above statement may not be factual

The sky's the limit on where you want to eat then imo. Although booze pairs real nice with an anniversary.

Love the part where the Grizwalls go out in the 140 degree desert to visit Cousin Eddie for a bar bq. Eddie walks out the 40 year old mini trailer and throws 2 chickens on a boulder

Then seriously look into Stroubes.

LINK

$26 for a Ribeye
~$7 for soup or salad
$5 for a side

You would be paying ~99 with tip.

Just over with soft drinks.

100 bucks is easy

liquor up in the parking lot and don't leave a tip. This will save $$ and it's not like you will be going back for another 10 years.

Seriously, ever think about making the steak dinner at home yourself. Set it up real nice and save some cash for something after dinner. Can be done real nice.

This is an excellent suggestion. Spend the rest of the money on her favorite dessert and be sure that you're well-rested after dinner!

You can get a much better piece of meat if you're just willing to go up to 150$.

If he goes to Roadhouse he won't get any tenth anniversary meat.
