The restaurant/bar business always slows down during the summer months.

ETA. Down voters never worked in the restaurant/bar business.

LB is my favorite chain steak place.

Decent price for NY and decent wine. Only place I can think of me & mrs cajuntiger can both eat steak & few glasses of wine for under $100

I believe it's in the same chain family with things like Capital Grille and Eddie V's. But, with Longhorn, you get most of the same food as those at like half the price.

It's also like 6pm on a Friday night, the only people eating out right now are the olds

Every Longhorn Steakhouse stays packed out at *usual* dinner time on a weekend

Source - I travel all over the country and stay in lots of hotels for work

It’s a good place. I used to eat often at the one in Denham. Now I grill at home because it just costs too much to eat out

Those spicy chicken bites on the appetizer menu are awesome. Wish my wife could get the recipe!

If I recall correctly you are in the Cobbish direction of ATL. Lots of chain steakhouse competition there. Because that market is saturated with multiple Longhorns/Outbacks/Logan's/etc it only takes a small downtick in demand for them to all suffer.

Honest truth. Since Biden got into office, I spend at least 15 dollars more for 2 at restaurants like this

Wife (no pics) and I are at Outback right now. Last time we were here about 3 months ago, every table was full with a 30-45 minute wait and no chance of sitting at the bar. Tonight, maybe 1/3 of tables are occupied and the bar was half empty.

I was at Outback in Huntsville, AL a couple weeks ago for lunch and the server mentioned how slow it was that day. I think it is a summer thing. People eat lighter in hot months.

I’m here right now.. no wait and the restaurant is empty. Our server told us it’s been like this for the past month and it’s been brutally slow.

Is it really that bad out there that people can’t even afford Longhorn Steakhouse?

No... the economy is so good that people can afford to eat at Fleming's, Ruth's Chris and The Capital Grill. What you are doing by reporting this is reporting what we in the Biden Administration like to call Deep and Cheap fakes. You obviously went at the exact time diners were changing over... had you gone a few minutes later, they would again have been packed due to the record setting economy - KJP, most likely.
