Oh Lord, now you're sounding like my dearly departed mother. "Zach, you're not just a fool. You're a DAMN fool."

Edit: come to think of it, I don't eat ketchup. I eat fried catfish with tartar sauce. Haven't had french fries in 30 years. For shrimp cocktail I put so much other stuff in the ketchup it blocks the taste. I don't put ketchup on burgers. Fried chicken tenders = BBQ sauce. What else is there for ketchup?

Now, the wife goes through a bottle every week. If she has 3 chicken tenders on a plate she dumps a cup of ketchup on the plate. Uses about 4 teaspoons for her chicken and throws the rest down the sink. I attribute this to her McDonald's mentality growing up. The ketchup is free at McDonalds so you might as well take 20 packets of ketchup even if you're only gonna use 3.

No, she's 10 years younger than me. But those 10 years were right at the McDonald's explosion. When I was a kid in the 50s there were no McDonalds in La.
When she was a kid in the 60s she was raised on the crap.

14 years. My first marriage was 17. The 3 years of singlehood in between convinced me that most women are bat shite crazy. My wife is really great. I don't mind putting up with her food quirks.
