I noticed this at the store the other day and almost didn't buy it because of how murky and sediment-y it seemed. I hope the taste isn't affected too much. I don't use it standalone, but use it in most savory stews/gravies.

also, didn't the lee and perrins bottle that was wrapped in paper have an orange label on the bottle?

eta: the label looked like this, right?

I'm not talking about your bottles or situation.

years back the smaller regular sized wrapped bottles had an orange label if I recall.

I am going to give that W sauce a try. I have never tasted anything close to as good as Lea and Perrins. Is it way more expensive?

Do the small ones look murky as well. We've only bought the large bottles, all of which are murky.

Well, I bought the bigger bottle at Calvins, just to compare I went to Albertsons and every bottle not wrapped was cloudy, went to Rouses in Drusilla and found the small one, It is not cloudy and to me and does taste different from the larger bottle I noticed the taste difference when I put it on a steak.

I googled to see is someone purchased them and then changed it, but they were purchased by Kraft/Heinz back in 2005. Maybe they have just gotten around to killing the brand through cost cutting.

I will find something dark, like I am accustomed to buying, and switch to it just out of stubbornness. We went to war against Grenada so we could have freedom of choice when purchasing Worcestershire sauce.

I don't like the murky look at all. Did you notice any flavor difference

Nothing noteworthy.

If you took away his Lea & Parrins, Justin Wilson wouldn't have been able to cook anything.

Might be the Mandela Effect, but I swear my bottle is still the brown tinted blast. I'll check when I get home. Don't hold your breath!

I’m going to order the small bottles next time after I run out of the good stuff and see if that’s murky.

Noticed the clear bottles last year & the cloudy/ murky liquid this year.

Probably a shortcut in the production process to save the consumer money.

QC seems off on a lot of products. All a symptom of the economy and shrinkflation.

My current bottles are brown. Think I'll save them.

That W Sauce is fantastic. And if you want one with a bit of a kick, try the Fireshire one.
Love the W Sauce in my gumbo.

I'm gonna get to the bottom of this, something is different with the taste of the sauce.
