i want to say since i have been with my SO.. I think it was around 300.00 including drinks at the Hearthstone in Breckenridge
prior to us dating, i never went out to eat. I was more into bars and getting drunk. The foodie thing has elevated since we started dating and frequently visiting the F&D board

Robichon was $495 per person before tax and tip

I've had a few come close, but I believe the most expensive was just a touch north of $650 at Gabriel Kreuther. Absolutely exceptional dinner. The restaurant must be inconsistent, otherwise I can't fathom how it hasn't earned another star.

French Laundry reservations are tricky but not impossible to get. Meaning they make you jump through a few hoops (phone lines open at 10 am pacific for dates 2 months out, etc...). Or use Amex.
My best advice is to shoot for a Friday or Saturday lunch. Same menu, same service, same price, but reservations a little easier to come by and a 3 hr lunch is less taxing than a 3 hr dinner.
But yes, that was my most expensive meal. About 1200 for 2. re the wine at TFL: the list is absolutely insane. And it would take you a month to digest and/or OT money. I just told the somm we had X to spend on wine and to divvy it up how he saw fit. Ended up getting 2 or 3 wines by the glass, 1 half bottle, and 1 bottle or so as I recall. Table of 4.

I paid @550, including tip, for my youngest to eat the menu, and then some, at One Flew South, after boot camp. Wife had a bowl of soup. I had a few bites of nigiri. The young man was hungry.
