Give me a description of NY Bagel's? I've never been there, but I can picture a place with bagel in their name to make a good PCS.

Sammy's has one that they call a cheesestaek, but it uses pot roast and poboy bread. I love that stuff, but its not what you're looking for.

Roul's on Highland at North Campus

Used to love this place in college. However, i got mild food poisoning one time and stopped going. Decided to go back after about 4 years, ate it, and got a little sick again. I don't know if it was the food or not, but i won't go back again, despite how good it used to be.

Roul's is an adventure each and every time. I refuse to try a PCS here. My brother lives in Philly so I live at Pat's when I'm up there. Greasy steak and cheese whiz. All I need.

I haven't had one in a while, but Sammy's on Highland Road @ Staring had a decent Philly a few years back.

Youi'll find your cheez-whiz steak at Pat's. The great thing about the cheese steak is that it varies greatly with in a 50 mile radius of Philly. In Chester County, they go with sauce, shrooms and provo all chopped together into gooey goodness. In Montgo, sweet peppers are pretty standard. Gino's does provo as well, and I believe they offer American Cheese if memory serves me.

I need to try South of Philly. Maybe today for lunch.

Cheesesteak wrote the exact same thing on Philly Me Up review on the trip advisor site. I can't seem to find anything out about this South of Philly place.

Apparently this South of Philly place just opened. In the 12/16/08 issue of the Business Report it shows that they applied for an occupational lisc. it has the adress as 4353 S. Sherwood.
It's where Kingfish Poboys was. It might be that free standing building right past O'Halleran's when your heading toward I-12 from Coursey

3 post all praising south of philly

Just identify yourself as the owner. Trying to act like a pleased customer, you will be ridiculed.

Cash,
You have a bought a parking pass from me and know where I work. So you know Im not the owner or work there. Trust me, that was the best philly steak that I have had in Baton Rouge by far. It's not even close. Go try it

I just wish cheesesteak was upfront. Trying to anonymously plug his joint is a turn off.

I cna understand that, but he really was a very nice guy. Maybe it wasn't the owner and just one of the huys that works there

You guys have to try south of philly on sherwood forest right past coursey. They use ribeye steak served on Amoroso's bread brought in from Philadelphia

I hope you make it, but your not off to a good start in here.
