Yeah, even though Acme is a "chain" I'm the glad the one in BR still does New Orleans some justice. I still dream about Liuzza's but Acme is my place to go up here.

One of the better shrimp poboys that I had in the baton rouge area I got from Tommy's Fish House in prarieville.
Tried PoBoy Express a long time ago but don't really remember anything about it. Might have to try it again.

If y'all are ever in Central give Cafe Roux a try. Very solid Ham, Roast Beef and Swiss Po-boy........

Skip the roast beef there... terrible Mandas sliced
Get the cheesesteak po-boy ... much better trust me.
they also do a pretty good shrimp po-boy

My choices:
Roast Beef = Dempsey's (never got the one at Acme's)
Shrimp = Acme's Peacemaker, George's does a good one too
