We used to drink espolon and a number of other reposados. We did a blind taste test with 5 different ones one night and we both liked cimarron the best. And it's a great deal... about 26 bucks a liter.

I’m with the Espolon crowd. $24 at Rouses and it’s a fantastic sipper.

Yep, great for ranch waters as well. I don’t feel bad about mixing it at that price point. Can drink neat or mixed IMO.

El mayor
Milagro
And Monte Alban - under 20 for a 1.75 in some places.

All are excellent

This one is SO underrated. It also comes in a liter bottle and its only around 25 bucks. The only place I've found it in BR is the liquor store on Perkins (Cuban?)

I can not vouche for their Reposado but ive always favored El Mayo blanco. Best tequila under 40 bucks.

Doesn't look like it's available here in Alabama (of course).

So far, Altos > Hornitos. Need to go to Georgia to try and find some of the others listed here.

Camarena is the best bang for your buck tequila imo.

Milagro is my go to though.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions. Looks like I have a lot of tequila to try.
