Tin Roof doesn't sell food, rock paper taco doesn't sell craft beer. Both generate business for each other. Seems like a perfect match, and a good idea.
I get that and I know this is a new food trailer... I am just surprised this is allowed.. I pass at least 3 of these permanent type trailers on Fla Blvd on a regular basis and I can assuure you there is nothing nice about them. I get the whole food truck thing , but to allow these to permanetly set up just seems like a bad idea
Why doesn't Tin Roof just do a build out and add a restaurant ?

What part of a partnership between the property they're parked on (Tin Roof) and the taco truck do you not understand?
Owner of taco truck and CEO at brewery are close friends.

LOL.. I understand that part. When I say allowed, I mean from the city/local government perspective. If every business owner let a guy permanently set up in their parking lot and sell tacos, that would not be a good thing. There has to be some rules and regulations involved.

More rules and regulations is exactly what this world needs

There are. The trucks can't park on the street. They can only go to places where the business has given them permission to be there.
You're like 6 years late on this. It all already went down in BR.

Are you assuming that there aren't rules and regulations for food trucks/trailers or that they aren't being followed?
The last thing anyone needs is more rules and regulations.

i believe they can roll away if a ton of people get offended at looking at them

hmm lets see these 2 options
1) Continue with the brewery as is and allow an already setup taco truck business station their truck on our property so our customers can eat while they drink and possibly stay longer at the brewery. Meanwhile taking no financial risk like building a restaurant
or
2) Build a restaurant, hire employees, get permits and inspections, more bills and taxes, buy equipment, get a food distributor and pay them, pay for extra advertising, etc.

Pretty sure those were written for trucks/trailers that were moving and popping up at different places. That is not the case here, essentailly they are permanently parking a restaurant there. That is a different scenario, seems like Tin Roof should do a build out if that is what they want to do.

I can assure you it's not a good idea to allow every business owner the ability to permanently put a restaurant in their parking lot.

Had the chicken fried steak taco and thought it was one of the best taco’s I have ever had.

Im assuming the taco truck owner maybe approached tin roof people with the idea. Tin Roof people thought it sounded good and agreed.
I doubt this is going to be some eye sore like your other places you mentioned. The brewery is pretty far off the main road and its essentially a giant warehouse.
The difference between allowing a food truck to park on your property and building a restaurant is pretty wide in all aspects.

If this were the case, which places of business, besides bars, would want food trucks on their property?

Do you just go around making business decisions for other people all the time?

A) Assuming they are within the zoning rules for a restaurant... why not?
B) A trailer isn't permanent. It can be rolled off if the business relationship sours for some reason.

I could see large office buildings or complexes wanting something there for employees, could lead to quicker lunch breaks and more productivity.

Yea and dont they have those downtown?
This guys argument is stupid.
He acts like theyre setting up a New Orleans Home Depot back of the parking lot Mexican hangout at the place

There is one in front of the Chase Bank tower a good bit, but it's not a "permanent" fixture there, I don't believe.

So you say it's a bad idea. Someone asks why, and your response is "I assure you it's bad"
Great explanation of your points, mate. You seem intelligent.
