Uhh yea Texas Roadhouse is the exact same crap as Golden Corral..

Cause I always find myself wanting a steak and choosing GC too.

I said I was done arguing but one last post.......if you think Texas Roadhouse is a "cut above" GC, you ARE the majority of Baton Rouge's finest diners. Thanks.

Easy because you are throwing out two random restaurants and making a claim that over 200K people choose those TWO restaurant over the others in the city. Then when someone laughs at your choice all of a sudden Golden Corral is a metaphor for all chain restaurants in the city..

Hey dumb frick anyone and I mean ANYONE that has ever eaten at both places know that Texas Roadhouse is a whole lot better than Golden Corral and its not even close. I have eaten at both places. That does not mean I choose those places over any other since I certainly do not. I probably have not dined at a GC in 5 years but if you count me in the majority of people that eat at GC then I stand by my comment you are a dumb arse.

South of Philly is about the dirtiest place in BR and was when it was the seafood place as well

The grounds looked bad but the interior was fine everytime I have been there.

Do I really need to post the definition of MAJORITY to you? Do you have any fricking idea what MAJORITY means? The metro population is 700K people.. But you claim that the majority of those poeple eat at Golden Corral or Ryans..

Keep thinking that.

Those two places are going after the same diners my friend. You must have sharp teeth.

Like I said, I'm through arguing.....go eat your fried shrimp platter I cooked for you.

You really think 700k people actually eat out? See this is what I mean by taking a step back and thinking about things. There would be a successful restaurant every 10 feet my friend if 700k people in BR ate out.......the risky restaurant business wouldn't be risky anymore.

Then you could leave your establishment as nasty on the outside as SOP and stay open.

Wanna make a bet to how long this great cheesesteak place stays open? That should prove who's right.

And yes, most people in this city want fried shrimp and fries. You may hang with a group that goes and eats but the majority are people 40 and older, wear coaches pants, weigh about 75 pounds too much and want fried shrimp.

Have you seen the parking lots at Golden Corral compared to a place like Dingos on a Friday night? Which do the majority of people in BR prefer?

Considering the FACT that the majority of BR is NOT over 40 years old you are once again proven to be a dumb frick..

69% of BR residents are under the age of 40. The median age in BR is 30.

Maybe you should look at some stats before you ask that brain cell to do some work for you.

Your numbers are incorrect as counted in your 700k number.

My friends and I are developing into young foodies. We are adventures eaters and don't shy away from many things. We don't eat at posh places, whatever that is. I guess tsunami. We like small local places like dempseys, or pho quyn, dingo's, and taco burrito express.

On a side note, Texas road house has a pretty damn good steak for a good price. And fried shrimp are awesome. I agree with catman. STFU!
