Went on a Sunday around lunch and were able to walk in. Agreed things are more difficult that it seems it should be.

Still unclear if I can order from the bar or not.

I literally could not decipher how one obtains a pizza there. So I just never went

HOW TO ORDER? Order Online! The easiest way to ensure you get a pizza is to order ahead on this website. If you know you want a pizza or two, hit the “order online” button and lock it in. Walk in! We open at 4:00pm and do accept walk in orders. However, we prioritize online orders first so there is a very good chance that you will have a 45-1 hour wait minimum if you arrive during peak business hours. A COUPLE OF THINGS FOR YOU TO KNOW! > WE DO NOT ACCEPT ONLINE ORDERS OF 4 PIZZAS OR MORE. IT BACKS UP THE KITCHEN WHICH CAUSES ISSUES FOR ALL. THIS IS ALSO CONSIDERED A CATERING ORDER AND WE WILL REFUND THE ORDER. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLACE A BIGGER ORDER WITH US, SEND US AN EMAIL AND WE WILL 100% MAKE IT HAPPEN! IWANTPIE@ILSUPREMOPIZZA.COM > PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE TIME AND DAY PRIOR TO HITTING “ORDER”. WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS.\ a neighborhood pizza & red sauce joint Open Wednesday - Sunday 4:00pm-9:00pm
I’ve not been there but I do know that the pizza counter is an add-on to a busy commissary kitchen for their restaurant group, not a stand alone pizza restaurant. It seems best to treat it as an order/pickup place, and order in advance online as above. Since I don’t live in New Orleans I’ll likely never do that when I can go relax and eat at st pizza instead

I still have not been to Il Supremo because I find their ordering process and hours indecipherable

What do you find challenging about placing an online order?

It may have changed since the hype died down, but you had to order a day or two in advance.

I dont buy pizza with that type of planning.

The hours of 4-8 suck. Especially for us out of towners.

I have St. Pizza and Nola Mia on my list. Forbidden was excellent! Huge pizzas for $30 and crust was perfect.

I wasn't ordering from Il Supremo when you had to order a day or two in advance, because pizza for me is more of an impulse buy. But now they are less busy so I ordered last Friday and picked it up that evening. It was very, very good; but I still like Pizza Delicious better.

Yesterday afternoon I placed an order to pickup at 5:30 that same day. Didn’t find it particularly difficult or confusing.

That wasn’t the case awhile ago. It was different

Also that’s ridiculous.

I want to show up and buy a pizza and eat it.

This is a small business; they are trying to keep up.

Maybe it's not for you.

Does not bother me to order a day ahead for pickup as they ramp up operations.

Their pizza is very good.

If I need a pizza outside of these guys, I can grab it right away.

No big deal.

That’s great. Sorry I’m not thinking that far ahead for pizza. I’m going to say “hey want to go get pizza?” And then go there.

It’s…a restaurant. That’s what restaurants do.

This is also an option. Still not understanding what the friction point is here.

Not missing much at Il Supremo. Not as good lately/ not in same league as others. The a la vodka pasta is some of the blandest I’ve ever had.

That wasn’t the case for the first like year or two of them opening. You had to order in advance and their opening hours were like 3 hours a day
