The smoker will be lit:
Early run will be venison meatballs, chicken thighs, and chicken breasts for vacuum sealing. For the game we’ll have chicken wings, beef burnt ends, pork country ribs, some half chickens, and sausage of course. For shits and giggles, our local owned grocery store had a $39 small brisket. Challenge accepted.

First Super Bowl in 16 years without my sons.

One is on a bachelor's trip in Sugar Mountain, North Carolina and the other is in Hawaii.

So, my wife, daughter and I are having a crab boil since those two aren't here to eat $200 worth of crab.

Same here minus the beer. Going on 6 months sober! A&W zero sugar here lol
Not as exciting, but it’ll do.
I’m slightly worried about my first sober crawfish boil. Gonna be tough standing around that pot without a cold one! I trust the good Lord will get me through it though.

Sorry to unload on you like that lol. I guess I just had to get it off of my chest.

Indeed, I have 3 racks (2 back and 1 spare) and will throw some chicken on too. Might grill some burgers for kids. I snagged a nice chopping block piece yesterday from ice storm debris, I will stop splitting my wood on rocks for a while.

Just me and my wife. Had a little boneless butt, about 5lbs. Tied it shut, seasoned it up and threw it on the pit this morning. It’s resting in the Cambro until she gets home from work. We’ll have pulled pork sandwiches on sweet Hawaiian buns and chips for watching the commercials, uh I mean game! :)

wife wanted meatballs, and the party we were supposed to go to already had BBQ meatballs, so I decided to do mine with enchilada sauce and cream cheese. Added a couple of cans of green chiles, topped with Quesadilla cheese, green onions and black olives. Baked until cheese melted.

It’s pretty damn delicious
