Las Vegas top 5?

I was a skeptic about BBQ in LV but it’s really good. The Beast has excellent St. Louis ribs

Austin is the top city and its not even remotely close. However, the "model" has been figured out to the point that I expect BBQ to explode all over the country. Its already happened in Texas and places are popping up outside the state that are absolutely elite. It would make sense to me that tourist spots like Las Vegas would start to become filled with good spots.

Memphis should be #1

Lol, not a chance. There’s infinitely more craft in Texas bbq than in Memphis bbq. Not to mention there really only are a handful of noteworthy Memphis bbq places,. There are dozens and dozens in Austin and Houston and even San Antonio’s.

City Market in Luling TX is probably the best I’ve had.

BBQ is pretty regional and similarly to Tex Mex and Cal Mex everyone thinks their’s is the best based on what they grew up with.

Just fine thanks. I'm in Houston today though, remembering why I left this soulless concrete parking lot 25 years ago.

I love Vegas and think it's one of the absolute best foodie towns, especially considering how many amazing options are within a 4 mile radius on the strip.

However, I've never had bbq there nor am I even familiar with a famous bbq spot in Vegas.

Can someone explain them ranking so high?
