Don't know about strange but extremely stupid

There was a guy that used to work in our office that went on a hot dog binge...as in eating cheap gas station hot dogs for lunch almost every day. He started developing this awful body odor because of it.

Would not advise.

Coming from DollaChoppa... no, not at all.

Eating too many hotdogs at one time can give you a headache from all the nitrates.

:themoreyouknow:

Does anyone know what type of buns dat dog uses, because they are delicious.

I don't think you're stupid. But I wouldn't consider eating a ton of hot dogs for some silly social experiment to be one of the brightest ideas of the 21st century.

I've had applegate before. They taste like every other hot dog. The casing is tougher than any other hot dog I've had. Really have to bite it to get through it.

Hot Doug's had a pop up at Publican Quality Meats yesterday... Outstanding!

That's kind of strange that he closed the restaurant - which was phenomenally successful and is now doing pop up's. I'm just wondering what he is really going to do or did he just make enough money to walk away and live by the pop up.

Whatever he does the guy makes a great dog. That lamb and pork belly with brie I would eat the arse end out of a rag doll to get one of those.

He does have the stand in the bleachers at Wrigley, though its not a full menu..

I believe this was his first pop up... I think he really just wanted out of the day to day grind of a restaurant..

The one with Escargot was my favorite and I didn't think it would be...

edit: the first person arrived at 6:15am (opened at 10am).. and it was sub zero here yesterday

My favorite is the Oscar Mayer Naturals Turkey franks. I generally don't care for turkey dogs, but those are awesome.

Hebrew Nationals are also good.

The USDA standard is no more than 20% hair in a hotdog. Doesn't bother me, but my wie won't touch 'em since she learned that tidbit of info.

Best hot dogs I've found that are nationally available:

LINK

Here in Columbia, Lucky's grocery store makes their own hot dogs and they are damn good, but I don't think they have any stores in Louisiana.
