Give it a rest. You were being a jerk for no reason and got called on it. Now you're trying to be cute and failing. You ask about Parishes, then cut on someone for being from one. Just STFU, and maybe you can recover.

I'm a big man. I don't have to be or try to be cute. It's not my style.

How about you read the entire thread.

An ASH grad I assume?

Sorry to assume.

What does Alx Tgr have to offer to MY THREAD regarding food from ALX TGR'S Parish?

Got an old Pineville recipe?

If not GTFO.

How's that?

Not going to disagree. How about this crab stat, atleast 60% of Stone Crabs consumed in Florida come from LA? And we don't see them here? WTF, they are a true delicacy and we don't see them at all.

I don't know the stats but I do know they catch a lot of them and I love em. Why not here? Man I couldn't tell you. Wish they would sell them here.

I do get the rock shrimp on occasion. I guess it is just what we are really used to and what they can market.

I mean..I catch a ton of grouper during the season and I eat them a bunch and most Louisiana fisherman will tell you the same but you very seldom see them in Louisiana restaurants. In Florida they are in every restaurant and sandwich stand you can find.

I guess just different taste.

Junior League NO. The Plantation Cookbook. A serious misnomer, but correct.

Good call. Not sure if we can say parish. I guess it would be region since EBR can't claim jambalaya but this region probably could.

Didn't know that. I don't think I've ever caught a stone crab in Louisiana, but we always catch plenty of them in our traps in Florida.

I don't know Bill or Jackie. Maybe someone at my office does. What do they do? Oh, and we have not really met, and you don't act like you're pleased.
