This was a fantastic thread. I liked the part where the Calandros guy falls off the face of the earth when asked the hard questions.

Gotta help the little ladies get supplies and shitlords their beer. Understand.

I'm sure he is putting together a statement that will put all of this in order.

One day I will happen upon some GITM and see if all the teeth gnashing and gloating was worth all that has been written through all the threads. I tend to doubt it, but I do chuckle often reading these things. I tend to agree that someone comes across as super douchy in here and I wouldn't buy there.
There is one beer from Athens sold here in the ATL market that has tight supply and a relatively large following but there are easily 4+ others that are as good or superior and I just get what I find. I'll be glad when 9/1 gets here, the law changes, and brewers can start selling direct to the public.

When done right it was great. They've had some mediocre batches but are on the upswing. With all the good beers out there it really is more buzz and hype than what it's worth. Maybe I just get it too easily so it doesn't feel that special to me.

I have a hell of a lot more respect for the way Taylor and the guys at Calandro's do business than Alexander's. I am done with Alexander's.

My coworker says Hokus Pokus has some.
Not sure if there's any left.
I've given up on trying to buy it at stores. If I can't get it on tap somewhere then I just won't get it. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
So many other options out there now....
