got about 30 minutes of time in during the stress test and I still don't know what I'm doing. 
I made a ranger and it seems like it could be a fun class. I still feel like I am just hitting buttons to click a skill during combat.

I've been wanting to post a reply to this thread for sooo long!(24 hours~maybe[bad a.d.d.]).
I don't remember much else I was going to say other than I'm very much looking forward to playing gw2, esp the WvWvW pvp setup. Siegecraft ftfw!!!(sp?)
I *think* I'm going with the vertically challenged race and Engineer.

The server is up, so anyone can get on at any time. Conversations aren't recorded. No inviting young teens for mic sex.

Playing as much as I can this weekend but I have to put my old coupe partially back together so it can be towed to the mechanic shop. Old Porsche back on the road within a month!!

I'm terrible at making money in mmo's. Probably because I find crafting utterly boring.

I like crafting for personal use and if it brings some money that's a bonus. The current version of crafting in MMOs is cake if you ever crafted in vintage EQ.

I would imagine that raw materials from mining or plant-gathering will be very valuable to those experimenting with crafting. That's probably the easiest way to "farm" money for now.

That soured me on crafting for long time.
I tried in Guild Wars, I think what will drive it here for me is daily achievements. I'll be trying to max mine every day. THAT's the way to earn money.
