Sony showed some nice games yesterday and got me interested in a couple games like Tsushima and RE2. But the one game I was wanting to see more of, the Spyro Trilogy, sadly wasn’t even mentioned. It releases in September and we still haven’t seen anything from games 2 and 3 smh.
It’s rumored that Spyro is coming to Switch, so I’m wondering if they’re gonna show a new trailer and announce it for Switch today at the Nintendo conference

Nintendo fans, what hopes do you have that the Smash Bros announcement is an actual new game? In all honesty, I hope that's what you get. They need to quit shining and rewrapping their old stuff for you guys.

Considering its fully playable at E3. Im assuming it isn't new because as far as I know Masahiro Sakurai isnt really rumored to be working on anything new as far as I know

It's going to be a new game in the same way Splatoon 2 was a new game.
New game mode, new story mode, new graphical sprites to make it look a little better, and new characters.
It will feel like a new game, but it is really a refresh of / update to smash 4
ETA: for Nintendo's more multiplayer based games, I expect this to be the norm from now on. New game every 2-3 years, similar to CoD, battlefield, battlefront, assassin's Creed, etc
ETAA: also for anyone that has been playing Splatoon, you know that Nintendo has been incredible at this: 2 full years of full fledged updates for free... It's nice

It’s like if you took all the worst parts of The Mist and Insidious and mixed it together with...wait for it....the walking dead....and said let’s make a game!

Yeah thats an interesting take on E3 so far. I thought Sony and Microsoft had pretty good conferences would've been better if Sony cut out the 45 minute excursion to the Tent and just held the entire conference in the 2nd place they went to.

This is true, he was extremely insensitive and moronic with his Oriental tag and should be tar and feathered for it, but he isn't lying

Probably the best game shown so far... and he said this, he just has really bad taste in games, whatever I thought that had been established at this point.
I mean you basically don't like games unless it's got guns that let you go pewpew on their heads and in my opinion have an absolutely abysmal taste in games: not liking the souls games, not liking kingdom hearts... Or any jrpg for that matter, or platformers, etc. But I don't give you flack for it.

He's not wrong exactly. This game 1 wouldn't even exist if it wasn't a kojima game and 2 wouldn't even break into the 10,000 sold range if it ever was released. Not saying it won't be a good game, but it is an EXTREMELY WEIRD frickING GAME from what we've seen so far.

I enjoyed the games from Sony's event a lot. They all looked really good, but the format and presentation value was just bad. Props for trying something different with your format, but it was bad.
And I don't know what kind of person can see Ghosts of Tsushima and say it's some lame samurai action game. I mean, really? Do you like video games at all?

As weird as it's been, there's been nothing I've seen on this that has seemed "boring" in any way whatsoever. And all we really saw last night was the Reedus sections. Still a good bit to this game we haven't witnessed yet. What part does Mikklesen serve in this game?
And that scene where we finally found out what that shoulder contraption was, using it to detect and sneak around those "shadow" beasts was pretty tense.
So yeah, the Kojima name is giving it more play, but he has a pedigree and portfolio that demands that you pay attention. I'll be playing it for sure.
