Beta Update Details
Not sure if anyone saw this yet.
Fixed occasional client crash when reviving.
Fixed killcam showing glitched area under map if your killer is dead.
Issue with spawning on dead squad mates fixed.
Fixed a bug where shooting at a moving enemy could cause more than the intended amount of damage.
Crosshairs for shotguns have been replaced with a new, thinner, art.
A subtle low health screen effect has been added.
Tweaked scores of Medals and Service Stars.
Tweaked the Rank progression.
Pushing prone on console will not play the animation twice.
Fixed loss of Squad Leader after EOR at some times.
Framerate stability fixes.
The 3D spotting icons has been tweaked to better match the target’s visibility. Icons will show frequently less on mostly obscured targets.
Fixed issue with crosshair disappearing after round transition.
Fixed issue with crosshair disappearing after trying to deploy while the countdown timer still active.
Squad list now shows specializations chosen, VOIP activity and dead squad mates.
Non working options in squad menu fixed: “Private” flag and “Switch Teams".

Was talking to my roommate and he was telling me about this video on Giant Bomb. They start to talk about it at the 9:24 mark how they are still developing the game. So this is probably a later version of the alpha that we are playing.
Still watching it, but from what it sounds like, this will get even better.

Cant stand when im an attacker and someone does this. I always fire a frick you RPG before I make my run down there. Support class is my favorite for now as well. But im sure once the game comes out ill be doing a lot of engineer work. Not much to use it for on this map. But there are points when the RPG come in handy. Especially the 3rd set of crates. Sit in the hallway/locker room and double and triple kill fest.

Well, i hope it gets some polish for the final release. But as it is now, I'm still kind of addicted to it.

It has to. They have said all along that the graphics aren't going to reflect the final product.
It honestly just looks like the alpha. Good, but rough.

I play on 360 now, and to be honest I might like 360 more than PC. I had 0 problems last night on xbox. If anyone wants to play on 360, GT= XxSkilzthtkilz

Yeah I was off work by 9 and played with Black and Devious. Couldn't hear shite but we played.

While Operation Metro is getting old, this game is awesome! I'm still trying to get used to the controls and the recoil (weird concept I know). I wish there was a way to know you hit somebody besides the "x". I like the pop sound MW makes but I can deal. I see myself being an engineer when the game drops and we actually get vehicles.
There are terrain issues and party system problems but what game doesn't have that. Plus it's a beta. I will be picking this game up and playing it until the next thing takes my attention. If I end up playing alone, then so be it. I'm not following the herd this time.

I feel you on the recoil issue. My shite crip walks all over the place

Finally played some last night, and I'm very disappointed.
The movement is much more fluid, but it looks like Battlefield has decided to try to enter MW territory rather than improve upon the BFBC2 experience. This appears to be more of a run-and-gun experience rather than the tactical experience of the past entry. While the graphics look good, there's little sense of the wide open feel of the maps.
And the new classes make no sense. There's little distinction between assault and support rather than more distinction. DICE totally fricked the classes up.
Also, I'm not a fan of the new menus. Doesn't feel as navigation-friendly as before. Not surprised that my son, who is a huge MW fan (and not so much BFBC2), loves it so far.
May not buy this one afterall. And that's too bad, because BFBC2 has been my favorite game for some time now.

I will be alone with you. I'm absolutely loving the beta. I'm ready for 10/25.

I do not like that you like the game.

I'm not gonna get too needy and analyze, but this is just fricking fun. And not annoying.

Agree 100%. I still haven't gotten tired of playing one game mode on one map.

I think they picked a horrible map for the Beta in Metro. Battlefield is about big maps, vehicles, etc. I wish the console Beta had something like Caspian on PC.
