I started playing that this weekend. I like the music as well. I'm just past the part where you get Odin and you're going through all that crazy, winding roads and fighting monster after monster.. Does it continue to be as fun as it has been?

anyway, got sidetracked. The music is nice, yes.

I played the crap out of this game, but really can't remember much about the soundtrack. I guess I'll have to refresh myself with the HD release.

I don't really think that counts as a soundtrack, IMHO. Since the game is geared around songs, it's not really hard to build one. Not like you have to worry about creating a "mood".

It does, more so than you think.

Have you ever played it before though? You really can create a mood with the soundtrack - "great selection" or "cheesy choices." Most songs that are popular, or made to fit from radio to game, do NOT translate well. In fact most of the songs for the games are custom made. So the soundtrack really plays a big part... in other words, there are DDR games with weak soundtracks.

I know I will get hammered for this..But World Of Warcraft (Lich King expansion) Each zone has its on track and they are fantastic..When I would login with no playing to do and just to socialize with ma frans..I would go to a zone that had music that would fit the mood I was in.
