It's real quick, and you see them from behind, but it's them for sure.

I think there will be heavily radiated humanoid like ghouls. It is weird seeing so many trees thriving though. I would think the initial timeframe after a nuke would be more desolate than 200 years later. Kind backwards to me.

Agree.
A lot of shtt seems off with the timeline. Vegetation and animals being mutated at a crazy pace.

I mean... look at Chernobyl, it’s green and living again. Agree with the quick mutations tho

Good point.

That was a meltdown not multiple atomic bombs being dropped. They would have burned the landscape.
Razed the world.
Edt: I might join the FO subreddit in the complaining. Don't fckk with the FO lore. The gameplay sucks. The lore makes this franchise.
Joking. It will still be great. The franchise needed this new direction.

So far, me, you, and jeffo on pc. Gonna be a blast. And yes, that's a nuke pun.
Cannot wait to roll 4 deep in power armor into a fresh nuke site.

I don't play in Power Armor. But if we need to be savage.
Really only time I used it in 3 FO games was traveling in FO4's Glowing Sea.

One thing that dawned on me...
The premise of the game is to rebuild the country after the bombs drop.
But in all the Fallout games, the country is a massive pile of shite.
So, you know you fail. Best case scenario, you make a settlement that never extends much beyond its borders in 200 years.

Well, if we're only counting 3, NV, and 4, we've visited all of 3 places in this pretty big country.
Plus, depends on your definition of rebuild. New Vegas was pretty much a fully functioning city.

i can justify it because china wouldnt nuke west virginia.
just like all of japan isnt a desolate wasteland today.

Yeah America is fckking huge. We forget that a lot of times.
Boston and D.C. are right there but separated by a mountain range. I would think your influence would move West before East. With the razing of the world, 200yrs doesn't seem like enough time to really get shtt together.

Maybe, but it's in West Virginia. Not Missouri or Kansas. DC at least should be AWARE of its existence.
Besides, we're talking 200 years. Literally the same amount of time it took the US to go from 13 upstart colonies to a superpower. Yes, it is certainly rougher than what the colonists encountered, but not even WVa to DC in that time frame?
