I don't think I ever infused in 2. Does it use legendary shards?
Uses shards, glimmer, and masterworks cores now. Before it was just shards and glimmer so it wasn't bad. It costs less the get stuff from your collections now. Doesn't require any cores.

And planetary elements.

Yep. The infusion cost is pretty high too, so not much of a point for a while.
This is why I've really only been picking and choosing on infusing. I think I've only done it 3 times total to now. I scrapped all the legendary stuff I had equipped to build up resources and been rolling with whatever drops and my equipment pretty much. I figure by the time I'm done with the campaign and prep for the raid I'll have all new legendary anyway. Only things I've kept are the previous raid gear just to have and exotics which I'll likely just store.

Best hunter subclass for a new hunter? Don't really have exotics but do have rigs.
Solar.
Run it with Gambler’s Dodge.
Thank me later.

I was thinking about the with the new super. And arcstrider for the launch supers.

The new arcstriser doesn’t really change that much from the previous subclasses, and in fact actually kind of loses some of the neutral game advantages of the other 2 arc classes. Void looks interesting but again, while the super’s better, neutral game looks slightly worse off since no invisible dodges and no keen scout perk.
Knife slinger is a huge improvement for the solar class considering gunslinger was pretty unused before except for niche situations.

No meaning run arcstrider until I can unlock the new super
Posted on 9/7/18 at 4:15 pm to Devious
Oh yeah, then I would do either that or Nightstalker. Invisible dodges really help survivability.

I used nightstalker during the forsaken campaign but was honestly bored. Even with rigs.

I've always loved Arcstrider, especially when you have Raiden Flux.
Though, rigs + tether's pretty good if you hit high level mobs.
I got the 3rd arcstrider tree first. I've heard great things about the Knives & Nightblade supers, I think I picked the most boring out of the 3 to start.

You chose.....poorly
I keep going back and forth between hunter and warlock. Warlock has so many more tools in the bag but hunter mobility feels so much better.

Ah well, I'll get them all eventually
Also, the Ascendant Challenge this week is intense!

Warlock with transversive steps and recovery/mobility gear. Problem solved lol

Think you’re on to something.
Anybody done any significant chunk of the dreaming city yet? I’ve been getting my shite wrecked at 506 light. Also feel like I’m missing cool secrets wherever I go. Initially was thinking I’d go in blind to this section, but starting to lean increasingly towards cheating off reddit like I did for the dreadnaught.

I won't go into dreaming city until I finish getting all powerful challenges on all three characters. I want to be close to 520 before going in.

Clarification on shield shooting.
I've been doing solar, I misread something. On the shields you can shoot through the banner shield, unsure about the bubbles.

Haven't ayed since the raid with the fat guy holding the cup. Where sbould I be doing events to level and raise light level?

Go through Curse of Osiris and Warmind campaigns. That way you have access to some end game weapons from those expansions. When you're around 40, hit the Forsaken campaign. Unlock the Dreaming City. Then run powerful gear challenges.

Just finished the campaign. That may the best since Destiny has come out.
