Honestly I find Crimson isn't great for pvp. With the lethality changes, it's all about crits. If you can't hit crits consistently, Crimson won't help much.
I suggest Midnight Coup, Dire Promise, The Old Fashion, or my newest bae.. Trust. They hit like trucks.

For a consistent main, no Crimson won't be good for PVP. However, if you struggle getting crit hits with a hand cannon anyways, it is probably your best bet just due to you get three chances per shot. Use it more like a pulse rifle and you will be better off. I'm speaking from what worked for me. Tried using my better devils and just couldn't get precision hits/kills with hit. Switched to the crimson and used it like a short range pulse rifle and got through the challenge in I think 5 games.

If anyone gets a chance, see if this happens to you. I was looking at infusing one of my secondary bows. I had another version of it that was higher light but worse stats. Infusing only cost some glimmer, instead of all the other materials.
Anybody know if you infuse the same weapon into itself, if the cost is only glimmer? That would be awesome if so. Yes you can still infuse the other way, but at least have an option you don't need all the materials.

Calling it now, bows are gonna be problematic in pvp. If an enemy has any damage at all, you can easily one shot them with the heavy aim assist. If you have 2 guys running around coordinated with bows, they could do some damage.

Both are fine. But I'm on pc so aim assist isn't as big of a deal.

Ace is definitely fine, but I’ve hit some crossmap shots with a bow that I would not have hit with a sniper. It just feels so easy.
May not be game breaking but I definitely see some kind of bow combo becoming the clear meta.

It's not a ohk so I'm fine with it. They can be countered with a number of weapons.
