Assuming console, that sounds like controller drift, not a software issue.

Yeah I just noticed it outside of the game as well. Any fix ideas? This is on a PS5 just bought a couple months ago.

Ive played through the climax, big twist reveal, and going on what has to be the finally. I can say they took this game a complete 180 from what I expected. The combat is amazing but I mean in story. This is a much much darker game than Fallen Order. I mean Cal straight out executes multiple people and the normal gamelplay kill cuts are sleek varied and dismember. It deals with serious shite and hits on philosophies that really make you think. I didnt think we would get much from the story and I still though that for a long time because my god is a slow slow slow burn but now that I am heading directly into the final planet/end game i think they did the right thing.

I fixed console drift on ps4 controllers with at home stuff before if ya want my advice.

Take a q tip and round it into the crevices that circle whichever joy stick is giving you trouble. You will almost certainly see some gunk or something come off. Then hold the joystick hard in the opposite direction it is drifting for about 15 seconds. This always worked for ps4 controllers but you will have to do it again eventually a permanent solution is buy a new controller lol

Did it work? I have beaten the game and done most of side shite unlocked all perk slots got all stims killed all legendary monsters and loaded into NG+ on grandmaster. In my opinion it wont feel like it for a while but the story in this game is amazing. Its very slow to reach the top of the rollercoaster but I absolutely love where they have set the final up to go.
NG plus gives three new game modifiers along with the option to have a red saber which actually isnt just thrown in for fan service it serves a gameplay angle. One of the modifiers essentially turns yourself and enemies into glass cannons that die in 1 or maybe if lucky 2 hits. One mixes up encounters. I like this kind of stuff at launch.

If that doesn't work, make sure you controller firmware is up to date. This was an issue with early PS5s and I think there are youtube vids about fixing the drift. Sometimes, unfortunately, its just the controller.

Didn't do much for me. I had my first boss battle last night with the sister Inquisitor and it was dropping down to 10-20 fps. CPU usage is 2-3% and GPU usage is 60-70%. The game didn't crash, though, so that's good.

I feel bad for people who mostly play pc because this game really is up there around a 8.5/9 of 10 when its right. Not to mention it seems all their ports suck. I understand it is more difficult to make games for pc having to account for so many configuration types but they shouldve just delayed the pc version. I must have been blessed by the gaming gods this once because ive had very little issue on PS5. Although I hear that is where it runs far superior over xbox and def pc.

Is that a CPU thing like Ubisoft connect or something? And I imagine the reason they won’t push on the always online shite is the drm they run which will stop the game from being pirated by about a week max.

Also something no one has brought up in this thread yet that makes the map even better is you can find upgrades for BD (almost exclusively in moderately difficult to highly difficult side areas except 1) that will display icons on your map you missed. Chest is one, treasure is on, echoes is one, and maybe essences or tears is one.I

3 people on this board really need to learn what it is like to have sex. I make a post concerning most peoples biggest gripe with Fallen Order, its map, which is already much much better but just saying if you can conquer some of the harder more labyrinth areas of the game you can get each type of collectable as an icon on your map if you havent got it yet. And yes ofc the chest one is the hardest to find and hardest to kill your way to it. Only 1 is certainly given to you that I can recall and its the worst one ofc.

This broke me. I was planning to pick it up in the next couple of weeks, but frick this noise. I will never buy a single player game that requires this level of validation infrastructure to play. Shame on them.
