Honestly something like 2K maybe. How about a pre game show? Player interviews after the game. The whole game needs that actually. In Franchise I want it to feel like a real franchise. The commentators talk about what’s going on around the league. Stuff like that.

People always say stuff like this, and those features are cool, but won't you just start skipping after seeing it a few times?

Yea, its bull shite they still do exclusives. I want this game, but I am not buying a ps4 to have it.

yep, it's the only way that the two systems can differentiate between each other so you are never going to see this go away. Can't wait for the Spider-man game.

I pre-ordered the $100 edition because I love diamond dynasty. I have a lot of thoughts on this series and I might type them all out in awhile

Other than that, supposedly they completely revamped the Road to Glory mode. I didn't watch any of the videos to see what is different, but I do know that the progression system is completely different.
I watched a video on YouTube that gamespot did with Ramone Russell (one of the games designers) about the new Road to the Show.
- After you create your character you have to pick an archetype for your position. Each archetype has initial caps and Max caps on individual attributes. You can raise the initial caps through training sessions between games. The max caps mean that you can't max all your stats at 99 anymore.
- They did away with the old system where you choose where to put your points at after each game. Your now gain /lose attribute points after each individual pitch (or at bat for pitchers). If you take a ball as a hitter, plate vision is increased. If you fail to get a hit with runners on base, clutch goes down. It's all performance based now. Also if you are playing a game with double stats boost you also get double stat loss for bad plays.
- They redid the fielding view for infielders to have all bases in the field of view.
- They added a call up meter to show you how close you are to getting called up
Road to the Show is the only mode I play in this game because I find the other modes mind numbingly boring. I'm interested in how it plays out and will be buying the game on the day of release.

I’ve always been a big fan of the realism The Show has in terms of gameplay. They make it as close to how a real AB and such would go as they can. However, I don’t like the idea of not being able to focus solely on raising and lowering my stats as I choose. What happens if I take a strike? Is the game going to penalize me because I didn’t like the pitch?

Is there an option to play like 60 games in franchise?

Finished my first season batting .632 with 73 hrs and 151 rbis...called up on June 6th. I power swing every time. Power rating only 70. Seems off, but it’s fun.

I wanted to wait for the roster too, but I never do. I may get it when I get a chance next week although things will be hectic. I want to play it and start getting a feel for how it runs as well as starting to dial in some sliders.

I want to try to get into DD this year for the first time really and do all of these missions to get the immortals but i have no idea how to even start. Everything goes back to the career arcs of select players..How do you start those? Do you have to buy those individual players or just hope to luck upon them to get be able to get started?

No idea , I never tried it really. I always dial in sliders and get way too into franchise mode with the rosters. I usually set up 30 team control and try to manage rosters to a point when teams do dumb shite. Worth it to spend a little time running them and calling up and sending down people.
