All of the recent hockey talk made me nostalgic about this game. I had 02 and 03 on GameCube back in the day... used to play the shite out of them.

That game was really fun. The red wings were so overpowered.
NBA Street was great too and then came baseball's "The bigs" series.
Also NHL '94 for me instead of '95.

Hitz was great but I played on the Xbox. Could not stand the Gamecube controller, though it was a step above the N64 controller.
