I went for one of the high health handicaps thinking I was hot shite. Got greedy for the extra ninjacoin.
Got it eventually, but god damn. Those frickers can throw hands in purgatory.

First Purg beat the living frick out of me with the maximum handicap. 2-shots aren't fun. It made the game click for me though

Is it NG3 with a singular weapon or is it NGB and NG2 with several weapons? Also, is it Ryu?

It's NG in name only, much more of a Platinum game. Multiple weapons for Yakumo, one for Ryu. 17 chapters Yakumo, 3 Ryu

Eh, probably not.
Not really similar. It’s hack and slash.
The bosses require timing with parry and dodge, but I wouldn’t really expect it to fill that void.

If you haven’t played Ninja Gaiden Black/Sigma, you need to. One of the best, if not THE best, action games of all time
