Nintendos biggest fricking problem is not just including the pro controller. It's a solid controller and it works well but for whatever reason they refuse to include it, most people are too ill informed to know it exists and it hurts the whole deal

I was kind of interested in it after the reveal, but after seeing some of the presentation I'm reminded that Nintendo is still Nintendo.

Wish they would just combine the 3DS and dedicated consoles into 1 product.
The DS/3DS is my favorite unit of the last 10yrs. The library is huge because the time on market but holds tons of GOAT games. This unit makes a lot more sense if they would combine the 2.

In spite of what they've said publicly I'm pretty certain that's what the Switch is going to be. Wouldn't make any sense whatsoever to release a separate handheld or console at this point.

I'll buy it the day it comes out and I will enjoy the frick out of Zelda, Mario, Kart, and Smash Bros just like I have every other Nintendo console.

The GCN was more powerful graphically. The only system that gen the PS2 was a step above was the Dreamcast.
The biggest reason to get a PS2 was b/c it doubled as a DVD player.

Yeah but I could murder people on ps2 and they had the shiny madden helmets. I went to boarding school. Had to have a computer and DVD was standard at this point
Though a guy in my dorm senior year got the GameCube and had some Kobe Bryant basketball game that was fun as balls

Reading up on it, the only reason this MIGHT be true is that the PS2 was just hard to work with. It had more potential behind it's design, and most of it was never really realized. GC was more developer friendly so you got the better results sooner.
ETA AND the PS2 was the highest selling game system in history. So lot's of people made that choice.
