Gettin on my soap box, I don't normally get so pissed at BF3 but today made me rage.
If you're playing TDM, and you see an enemy shooting a gun, shoot back. Don't fricking try to sneak up on the guy in the middle of the street to knife him.
I counted 4 times this morning, I would be in a firefight and get killed, then on the kill cam there's one of my squad mates standing right behind the dude that just killed me trying to knife him. This is fricking infuriating. Just shoot the guy!!
What's worse is if the squadmate that just fricked you gets shot up during the knife animation. That's a damn 3 kill swing. We could have killed a guy but now we're both dead.
If they would just shoot the motherfrickers I would still be alive but no, they gotta act like some Counter Strike badass and get a sneaky knife kill. The maps are so small in TDM it's not a big deal to get one, yet people sacrifice their teammates and themselves just standing there trying to knife.

I know, I should stop expecting people to play the game well. It just seems like such a simple thing to me, if you see a guy shooting your teammates shoot him. Don't get cute, it's the first team to 100 kills, not first team with a melee ribbon.

Just....get used to people being terrible. It seems most people have tunnel vision when they are playing, i.e. they don't notice the radar and where people are attacking them from. They see that guy in front of them and go for it, everything else be damned.
And I'll mark a guy that is sneaking up on a teammate, so I know he is definitely on the radar for them and they just get killed without ever turning around. I wonder if certain versions of the game didn't come with the minimap
