Yeah Pokemon spawn more in higher population areas. I drove through fast food chain of restaurants and Pokemon always would spawn going down the road. You could drive through parking lots and catch a Pokemon at every store.

Yeah higher pop areas are where you need to be. Live out in the sticks and I gotta do some driving to find em.
So, tonight on the way home from a little trip with some friends to the casino (tons of pokestops and gyms at the casino, no I didn't play much) I stopped by a post office pokestop to use a lure I just got. The lure sucked. I brought in a couple rats and birds. Anyways I thought there wouldn't be much harm chilling in the parking lot. Well a cop rolled up and asked wtf I was doing. I knew the guy and so the explanation was easy. Dude laughed and asked if I was really playing that shite... I'm not a big gamer, so he found it surprising. He went on to tell me how they have been parking behind the Catholic Church in town because of people driving up and parking in the Priest's driveway (the gym center is hard to get to, only way is to go into church or park in the priests driveway). He laughed and asked if I was doing that shite, and I was like nah bruh I'm not on that level yet (I'm the master of the gym).
Anyways this shite has me hooked. Never was a huge gamer, but I was addicted to Pokemon as a kid. It's carried over into adulthood and this shite is probably going to get me arrested.

Outside of a Tangela I haven't caught anything of note. However, I have my inventory full of eggs 2-2k, 6-5k, and a 10k. Reddit claiming the 10k is pretty rare. Multiple people getting a Lapras from the hatch... Since I'm not in the city I'm gonna have to rely on eggs to gimme decent Pokemon. Got a golf cart so I'll be able to hatch eggs pretty quick without having to walk 15 miles a day

I dunno, man. I work in a town of about 13k. I've caught plenty of rare types.
Like a Dratini for example. But where I work there are about 10 areas in close proximity, one being our business. 3 gyms I believe.
Sometimes you'll get something random.

I wish we could get more than one candy. A 107 Eve shouldn't get the same amount of candy as a 10

based on that chart the most rare I've found was a cp91 pinsir earlier today

Omg... that's brilliant. If there's anything near my job, I'm doing this.
Edit: I want to believe some genius little kid out there has set up a lemonade stand on top of a gym in a park, set up a lure and is collecting all those sweet, sweet quarters.
If a business spends $100 for 14,500 pokecoins, they can buy lures for $0.59/lure. $100 gets you 170 lures and 85 hours worth of increased traffic. If you're a bar in a college town/city, this is the greatest investment you can make right now.

I finally downloaded the APK last night at 11pm here in Krakow and walked around the city for an hour and a half. There are Pokespots everywhere. I had over 200 pokeballs and 5 eggs in half an hour-(I didnt know where to see the eggs in my inventory until I got back to my room so I haven't hatched them yet) but my god does the game drain the battery. I went from 60% at 11pm to 2% at 12:30.
In 90 minutes of playing, I have:
5 eggs
1 charmander
3 ratattas
2 ghastly
4 drowzees
1 NidoranM
1 Electabuzz
2 Zubats
1 Jynx
1 Paras
1 Krabby
I still have Koffing, Magikarp, NidoranF, and Ekans near me apparently and I haven't even left the area where I am staying.
In 90 minutes of playing, I have:

It wasn't a fearow, I've got one. It was a bird type and it definitely had flames but since I didn't actually run into it all you could see was a shadow.

I just tried attacking a gym, totally dominated it and then when the opposing Pokemon was almost dead none of my attacks hurt it anymore. What gives?
