I understand. The only way to catch 'em all is to use codes for encounters. I've never figured out how to trade using emulators.

Can y'all make a new thread for playing the old Pokemon games? Nothing against it but im only interested in Go. Plus it will just make it easier for everyone.

I've almost quit the app, not being near any Pokestops is the biggest hinderance.... I do not want to pay but the fact I've had 0 Pokeballs for 4 days hurts.

There was a cp90 weedle in my back yard I waneed to catch, but I'm out of berries and great balls.
The last 3 times I have tried catching a weedle it would break out of 3 pokeballs and run.

Yeah the amount I even try to play has dropped dramatically for similar reasoning. Still hatching some on my walks but I don't have many stops or Pokemon where I live.. I can walk 3-4 miles and maybe see a pidgey and a weedle.
I go to the lakes almost every day too though, so that gives me a few stops but I mean it's still the same Pokemon everyday. But I guess I'm getting close to a Dragonite with the Dratini's I catch out there so that's good.

Don't feel too slighted about living in the country. I live in Atlanta and all I get are pidgeys, rattatas, spearow, caterpie and weedles.
I'd kill for magikarp and dratini's.
The only upside, I'm sitting on 100 great balls and 65 ultra's. I just have nothing to use them on.

I upgraded my bag twice with gym earnings. I really only go to the park once, maybe twice a week to walk and that'll last me all through the workweek.
Unrelated: so I saved 125 oddishcandies because this Oddish had a better IV than the 1025 vileplume I had. The original had SoLa beam 120. So I evolve Oddish all the way up to a brand new 1240ish vileplume. He had a sub 80 attack. So now I'm looking at attacks more than IV and CP...

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but can't the attacks change on evolution also?
