So three times today I took down a gym only to have someone from the same team steal the gym out from under me.
The last one was a level 5 gym I was taking down by myself and a car pulled up as I was battling the gym leader. I thought great if they are on the same team the can chip in. They never did. I go to drop my guy in and they had already taken both the slots.
So out of 5 gyms today I got 20 coins. They really need to put a time buffer on this crap.it's becoming really common. I had it happen twice the other day in Destin as well.

Not gonna lie, but if I see an empty slot in a friendly gym while I'm driving around, I'll stick one of my guys in there without even looking. I'm sure I've screwed over at least a few of my teammates that put in the work to level-up a gym.
It does seem kind of silly that you aren't given the option to automatically insert one of your own guys when you take over or level-up a gym.

That's why I am more mad at the developers that leave that kind of crap in the game because they are so focused on keeping out the other pokemon locator apps.

Well when you take a gym I thought you could automatically place two Pokemon?ive never seen a gym with only one Pokemon and I couldn't add.

No you can only place one as far as I know

There were 2 people in the car, both playing, both joined the gym leaving no available slots.
And the main point is when they place someone first they get the coins not the necessarily who ever took the gym.

Yes, only one per person but I believe two slots open automatically.

Yeah that sucks. I won't lie I've done plenty of drop offs but idk if I ripped anyone off like that unless they had multiple people trying to take the gym.
Wait until you have gyms taken right in front of you when nobody is around.
I think it would be a good idea to give coins for taking a gym.

2 tracker apps are now functioning: pokemesh and radar GO. I believe pokemesh is for android only and radar go is for iPhone and android. We're back baby

New version on android today. Tracker box changed from "nearby" to "sightings".
Also people are saying that there is new code in the gamE indicating tracking may come back with thE PokemonGo Plus thing next month.
Accuracy bug appears to be fixed as well now.
