Just hatched a 10k egg at level 21. fricking CP 470 Onix. That's the second Onix I've gotten from 10k eggs. Screw the universe!

Halfway through level 24. Definitely not playing as much. It's been very hot so that has something to do with it, but also the fact that I seem to have hit a wall with finding new pokemon in the wild. I found 1 new pokmeon over the last 2 weeks or so. Hatching eggs is nice to have, but just not near as fun as finding them in the wild. I've caught 87 so far.
Also, I just don't have it in me to XP farm anymore.

Level 22 caught 98/100
But man the update is making things hard trying to find new pokemon. Tons of rattatas and pidgeys but really have to get around to find anything else. And several mons that used to be able to find are no where to be found. Haven't seen a Growlithe since the update and caught 9 before.

Since the game started, I haven't found shite in my neighborhood outside of rats, pidgeys, spearow, and the occasional zubat. Today, out of nowhere, I ran into (and caught) a 1614cp Exeggutor, well over 900cp than the next closest pokemon I've run across.

I hit the point where I wanted to farm candy and wait until i had awesome CP base level Machop/Abra/Gastly/Bellsprout/Oddish etc to evolve all the way. Now since I'm not playing as much I'm leaning towards just evolving what i can regardless of CP and if I find better ones whatever. I care less and less and less about the gym aspect and more about the catching them as I play less often. I have 105 now and have enough candies to get about 4-5 more evolved versions.
Y'all think I should pull the trigger on the evolves even without super high CP base ones? Definitely leaning that way now. I don't feel like wandering around forever to find a 550 Mankey over my 470 one just to get a higher Primeape I'll never use in a gym battle you know?

I focused on eggs this weekend, it paid off. Finally got a lapras, enough candy for magneton and cloyster.
Now sit at 141, if anyone knows where to get a lot of kabuto or where a reliable kabutops spawn is in the southeast, I'm open for a weekend vacation trip.

I'm at 103/103. I've got candy for or close to evolving another 5.
Definitely hit a wall though. Not nearly as motivated as a few weeks ago.

This kind of shite has been happening a lot. Did it the other day with a pidgeotto... cp was around 300.... threw some supers at it for the hell of it...no luck, then ran.

Where I live there are lots of Pokestops and gyms. Just enough rare Pokemon to keep me engaged.
I think it definitely makes a difference in how long it takes to get burnt out. I don't have to drive somewhere and then walk around to hunt, I just walk out the front door.

I've been having a higher catch rate the past few days. Burned through my potions getting my fiancee a spot at a friendly gym. I have more pokeballs than I know what to do with right now.
My office is a dead zone, so I never catch anything at work unless I use incense. I am currently stocking up on trash for a mass evolve to get me out of Level 21.

The pokestops and gym at discovery green in Houston are being removed this week at their request. They say it is a safety issue and too expensive to provide security. I don't know if they will remove the spawns too. I have not yet been there but it is currently a diglet nest.
