I don’t plan on skipping cutscenes. Even though it’s still an option
I plan on hunting and using winds and tonics to cover my sent.
I also plan on riding around helping random and killing others.
All those would still be possible with fast travel. Infact there is fast travel. You just have to grind through some campaign missions to unlock.
I don’t mind them trying to slow things down. Like the looting system is super slow but I’m fine. But there a few QoL mechanics they should have added when it comes to horses, traveling to the camp, and walking/mission pace.

Once you progress the story and upgrade your camp, you can get a “map” which lets you fast travel to your camp. Just slug thru it my dood

Isn’t it only FROM your camp?
That’s what I heard. Thag you had to be at your camp and then you could fast travel. But no way to fast travel to camp.

Is there a particular spot to get to in the story that is good to start exploring the open world? Sometimes I start exploring too early and if I would have just done one more story mission I would’ve had some new ability that would’ve been super helpful.

Had my installation stall on the 2nd disc (XBOX). Unplugged (not just turned off) and it started right back up when I plugged back in. Just a FYI in case others have issues.

Just got to Valentine.....figuring out the camp sitch. Really like it so far. I understand for some it may feel slow, but it's basically reintroducing the game.
