Pretty sure if you kill someone even with no witnesses and don’t throw the body in a bush or something, the police will “investigate” the area and eventually narrow it down to you. How they do that with no fingerprints, dna, or ballistic tests I have no idea, but that’s how it’s worked for me. Basically, if you kill someone, don’t leave them on a road or in a town.
It’s still better than RDR1 and GTAV where you could kill someone in the most remote area of the game and still get a wanted status. They’ve definitely improved that particular system

Would it be inappropriate to share the gold bar glitch here? I did it the other night for about two hours and made $50,000 before continuing. Saved the game and went back to a saved game before the glitch to play normally. One day I may reload the glitched game to go through it rich as hell.

Just walked up and watched some NPC blow his buddy’s head off in front of the gunsmith in Rhodes. Was trying to show off his new pistol and shot him right in the face on accident, then ran off. The interactions in this game are hilarious.

Now that's only with regular citizens right? I thought if you kill someone in an outlaw gang then nothing really comes from it since you basically did the police a favor

Have not seen that one. My favorite one so far was I was riding and came up to some guy having difficulty with his horse. He turns and says hi to me. Horse kicks him in the head and kills him.

I've had the police investigate and I just left the area. Nothing else happened.

Had that one happen. Horse was a pretty decent horse if you chased it down and stabled it. For early on in the game, it was one of the better horses I had seen outside the arabian and the pre-order thoroughbred.

I saw this one. I was like "WTF?" and thought it was a glitch, and looted the guy.

I think it was just for the ultimate edition pre-order iirc. Go to buy a horse in the stables in Valentine and you should have an option to buy him for $0

I purchased the ultimate without pre-ordering it and received it. In that mission was able to buy it for zero.

Nah I think it’s a preorder thing. I didn’t get the ultimate edition but I had the option.
