If not, i'll be very disappointed.

I'm still greatly enjoying the game but it's becoming a chore to a point. Last night was the first night that I put Odyssey back in for a bit. Maybe a little break will help.

That was so cool. I thought of New Orleans the entire time I was in that area

just wish they would fix some things that really slow it down.
Looting inside is awful. there's no flow to it and I always feel like im missing something by not being directly focused on an object.
constant riding gets extremely old
losing skins is frustrating. they just disappear sometimes.

Agree with these two. Especially once you get to the Saint Denis camp.

Set a way point and go into cinematic view. It will ride for you. Still takes time, but you aren't having to control it constantly.

I've also learned that committing murder close to town is a bad idea if you don't want a bounty. The witnesses I had to kill just kept getting closer and closer to town. Eventually I was in a shootout with everyone.
Yeah my white Arabian got killed by a damn train, I hadn't saved the game recently, and was forced to reload, losing about 2 days worth.
And yeah, the murder train scenario happened to me around the slave quarter area in St. Denis last night. An epic slaughter took place.

I’m rushing through the ending now. Ima do a replay in first person that I go a lot slower on.

i'll preface this by sayin i'm not a big gamer. it's probably been over a year or two since i've played a game, but i've been waiting for RDR2 for a long time.
It looks incredible, the story is great...BUT...i'm getting really tired of having to care for my horse, and all the different health & stamina levels for arthur. any tips or ideas to best deal with these issues are welcomed. even if it's just "stop being a bitch."
i also haven't played that much yet, i'm still in the mountains. i might just be a bitch. OH, and i also hate having to hold down buttons for a second or two to pick up items. i jsut want to hit x or y and that be that.

As you progress in the game and do stuff in the world, you'll increase the amount of stamina and everything. I rarely have any issues with it anymore.

All of those health and stamina levels increase as you play pretty quickly. I honestly never deal with it anymore until after a big gun fight. The horse I just brush randomly. I guess I just ignore all the stuff since it seems to not do too much to really hinder you.

I can never get the horse clean by just brushing. I just take it in the water and that works.

My only complaint about the game is that it’s so immersive, and so consuming, that you can’t just sit down and play it for 20-30 minutes, you have to dedicate at least an hour to get anything done
That being said, with everything included, this is probably my favorite game of all time

Excellent! I kind of hoped that this would be the case, or that you would just get used to it as you played longer. Sadly, my life is much different than it was when RDR1 first came out, i don't have nearly the amount of time to play as i did back then, so i'm still in the beginning of the story really.
Thanks to you and GCAubrn for responding.

That's odd. I brush mine and after like two swipes on his neck, his whole body is clean.

Yea, one brushing fully cleans the horse, minus maybe some mud around the feet or something. I have a completely white horse, I know what it takes
