On my second Run I'm going to do insanity for the achievement. There are no achievements for veteran so I just have it on normal. Seems a tad easy though may switch in a second

Yeah. I know on mass effect 2, there was an achievement for completing the shadow broker dlc on hardcore or insanity. I wonder if there are mission specific/difficulty specific achievements in me3, as well.

Yep. When I get home in bumping it up some. There are no mission specific achievements right now, besides complete the game on insanity. Maybe there will be some added in DLC.
What I'm about to say isn't really a spoiler it's a silly side mission and involve my first complaint about ME3:
I'm about to leave the ship and I'm informed about an academy that has sent out a distress signal blah blah blah....long story short I head to the galaxy map to do the side quest and I can't freaking find the academy!!!

If you wait to do side missions they disappear in this game. Just a little FYI.

make sure to highlite the quest in your journal to ensure it marks on the galaxy mini map?

Weird. It might be a bug I had some buggy side missions in ME2.
