Yep. I’ve always done disk mode. I can’t do digital. Plus, why have an entertainment center if I can’t fill it up with old game cases?

I don’t think the shortages are worse than previous generations. I think just the way things are distributed now is different. We’re so used to one click and it’s here in 2 days.
I think we are dealing with the same stuff as usual, but now we have to compete with bots on top of it instead of just people camped outside of Best Buy.

my guess is this. the cancelled the orders they knew they couldn't cover first. then checked for bots. kinda shitty, but it is what it is.

This reminds me of the time I was waiting on my order at Taco Bell in college.
The Grilled Stuffed Burrito was the new hot item at the time.
After waiting 10 minutes the guy says sorry about the wait. First they gotta stuff it.... Then they gotta grill it.
I couldn't argue with that.

It's not that I'm even worried about it shipping today.
Its the overall lack of transparency. Would be so easy for them to send a mass email saying. "Hey we know we did a lot of cancellations, but you good"
