Virgin American retailers refuse to do in store purchases because we're so scared of a glorified FLU that has a 99.999% survival rate and scalpers buy up all the stock and gouge the public that's forced inside.
Meanwhile the Chad Mexicans doesn't give a frick and does this.

What does all that mean for mobile?
Clear cookies and cache on mobile and keep browser open to the disc/digital version and check top of hour throughout the day?

You would do the same exact thing as it was on your computer.

How often does one need to clean cookies/cache? Once a day?

Anytime you access the site, caches and cookies are automatically downloaded to your PC or phone.
Posted on 11/19/20 at 4:44 pm to finchmeister08
So as long as I clear cache/cookies and don’t access site until they’re released I should be good?

Yes, also, according to Queue-It’s website:
quote:
“Queue-it’s pre-queue functionality gives anyone arriving before the start of a sale a random position in line. For speedy bots designed to arrive just before event start to beat the crowd, the pre-queue simply neutralizes their method of attack.”

So what’s the play? Wait for a couple of minutes with a clear cache?
Posted on 11/19/20 at 4:57 pm to finchmeister08
Yea well it fricked me last week
When my wait said less than one minute then jumped to more than an hour

Not saying what finch is recommending is wrong but I left a tab open on safari on the ps5 page on ps direct and kept getting put in queues there.

Were you constantly moving on it/refreshing? If you stay still you get timed out so maybe you got timed out into a queue

According to that Discord Channel:
1. The link to PS Direct can be found here LINK
2. If you go into a PS Direct Queue, your time will be stuck at an hour until stock actually populates, at which point you will likely move through quickly
3. If you are unable to enter into a queue after knowing the queue is live, you are likely looking at a cached page. Clear your cache, go incognito, or switch browsers
4. All drop times are unofficial unless posted in the <#779026431048679495> page
5. Direct drops are highly variable and as of yet none have ever been confirmed or forecasted by Sony
6. PS Direct tracks you placement in line by IP, so refreshing, closing and opening windows, etc. should have limited to no affect on placement
7. When you first enter into a direct queue, it will likely show a short period of time and then jump up to and hour. This is normal (see 2.)
8. To clear your cache, press ctrl+shift+delete. This should make your queue pop up if you are unable to hit it
9. If you see a charge on your card but haven’t received a confirmation email from PS Direct, please check under “Orders” under your account (the top right drop-down) on the Direct website.
10. Shipping info usually takes about 24 hours to populate for PS Direct.
Please download the FedEx app for more detailed tracking information, as they are usually more up-to-date than the PS Direct website. You will only need your name and address for the FedEx app to work, no tracking number necessary.
11. We’ve had a of couple people mention they rushed through checkout and forgot to apply Express Shipping. As of now, it seems like people who reach out to Sony and ask to have their shipping changed from Standard to Express are told that their order would have to be cancelled in order to make this change.
However, the shipping options don’t seem to make a huge difference on delivery estimates. People seem to get their PS5s from Direct anywhere from 1-4 business days from when their order was placed.

i dunno about this one. in my post earlier i opened up an edge browser and got a queue but i was still in the store on google chrome changing between pages and adding games to cart before being kicked out
Posted on 11/19/20 at 7:03 pm to sgallo3
It might’ve had something to do with caches and cookies being stored between browsers. Not sure.
Posted on 11/19/20 at 7:28 pm to Skyler97
Just left it open on my phone and would refresh when I switched to it. I’m not saying I’d be in a queue and then get out back into one just that I never cleared anything and was able to get queues
