Exactly what happened. They aren’t able to track where it’s at because of “extremely high volume package”. It never left Ft. Worth where it was dropped off.

I got mine on release day through the Walmart app, my daughter has it on her phone so we preloaded the address and payment and it went right through.
Bonus- my daughter is working nights at Walmart to pay her student loans and I was able to use her discount!

GameStop rep pretty much told me that that I have to wait 7 days and this has pretty much been a regular occurrence. Packages going missing for the PS5. People saying it’s been signed for and it hasn’t happened.
Apparently I shouldn’t have chose the free shipping method. I was so concerned about getting the order processed I didn’t think.
So yeah, my PS5 is probably gone. Sucks.

It’s been a huge issue in the UK
Especially Amazon orders, showing up with empty boxes or just random shite in the box labeled as PS5
My wife tried to buy one a digital off FB market place for $450
Once she started asking the seller legit questions about if it’s been used or not he just ignored her
Told her half those sellers, only list close to FV to get you to look at their add but really want twice that

What is crazy is the theft happened at the Fed Ex depot if it did occur. It arrived and never left.

I caved. Talked a guy down 33 percent from his asking price.
Liking it so far.
