Already beat this game twice. Such a beast.
...I mean, I've seen the credits roll twice. That counts, right?
I got ROFL-stomped by the set of giant arms my first time against them.
...and then I read the description of my OS Chip and couldn't resist removing it.
Loving this game. I wasn't that excited about it at first because I had only seen the third-person combat shots. But the way they seamlessly move from 3rd person, to top-down shooter, and then the gunship and mech battles...man there's SO much to this game.
Killer. Loving it.

It's a special game. God of War is the only thing that has come close to that level of quality in 2018.
Dying at the beginning counts as 1 of 26 endings, which is why you see the credits. After you get to the first save point (when you beat the boss), put the difficulty on hard. It's tough at first till you get some good chips, but it evens out later on. Norma is too easy.
Best game soundtrack of all time, one of the best scripts in recent memory. Just bear in mind that when you beat the game for real, it's not the end. Keep playing.
and for gods sake, dont read anything or search for any youtube videos on it. you will get spoiled

I was not crazy about the game. The open world is bare as hell. Route B is unnecessary padding.
I'd say it's a good 7.5/10.

it is, but the lack of variety in it was a reported budget issue. they had planned more divergences for Route A, which would give B more fresh material (like the factory sequence), but time and money were short.

Yes, I would say this game does feel like it suffers from a lack of a budget.

Just started my 3rd playthrough and this game continues to amaze me.
I mean, I beat it twice, 45 hours poured into it, and now it's like I'm starting a whole new game. Got another title intro sequence and everything.
This is what gaming used to be before DLC. I'm blown away.

How long did it take you to pick your jaw off the floor during that sequence?
I was thinking about you earlier today, been meaning to bump this thread and see where you were. You’re in for a ride

This game is a masterpiece in both storytelling and gameplay.
I teared up, man. It's beautiful.
Also...A2 got back.
