I just bought a Switch on my way home. Zelda, Arms, MK8 Deluxe. Thinking about leaving it alone until I get Mario tonight.

This is probably a good call if you really want to play Mario first. If you start playing Zelda, then your arse won't be playing Mario for a couple of months at least if you are anything like me. I couldn't put that shite down once I started.

This is why I keep buying the game cartridges. Something about carrying them all in my case and changing them out when I change games just puts a smile on my face. Plus I like having all the cases stacked next to my switch

I download most games and buy the big mostly single player games on cartridges - Zelda, Mario O, and soon to be Xenoblade and Doom.
I just like having the smaller and multiplayer games easily accessible. Plus Splatoon and Arms are tiny games comparatively. Fifa is sort of a monster game though. I might start buying cartridge sports games as well.

Yeah that's kind of my thinking. Though if I can get mrs genro up for some arms or mk8 multiplayer then I'll probably try them out

I hate to hijack this thread, but how did FIFA turn out? I'm not much of a soccer guy, but with Atlanta having a really good MLS team in their first year, I've been paying attention and am going to my first game tonight (playoff game). I figure that if I really get into it, I might pick the game up. I've been pleasantly satisfied with NBA2k18, so if it's of similar quality, then good enough for me.

It's Fifa 16/17 with a new coat of paint. So it isn't bad, but it's missing some of the more flair focused updates that 18 on the X1 and PS4 got. If you like Fifa/sports games, it's perfectly serviceable.
And playing it on the go is awesome. Best mobile sports games I've played.

I never could get into the FIFA games until I could play it portable. Easy for quick games.
