I mostly write my own stuff. Have everything set up to record on my pc, but I haven't done it yet outside of just messing around.

Ohh, that's what you meant. My friend switched over from audacity to reaper for tracking his band. You should check it out, the license is only $60. I've messed around with it and it's pretty easy.

I'm not sure. Never had to classify it It's rock...early Tool influence with prog elements, kinda dark AiC tone, some edge to it. But there's also some stripped down stuff.

To me, Lateralus is their best album by far. But I like the darker tones and rawness of the music of Undertow and Aenima.
10,000 Days is their most musically complex, but I don't connect with it like the other albums.

Les Paul (wine red studio), Fender Champ, and a pod hd500x. Pod will be replaced with a pedal board at some point. Champ will be replaced with a tube. But that's all down the road.
