So does the boss not drop anything if you are dead when he is killed? Just finished a challenge mode and got nothing from the boss because I got capped right before we killed him.

Shouldn't, usually you respawn and get the gear. Not sure, but I think you have to at least damage the boss to get the drop

Got the First Wave M1A last night farming Russian Consulate. That gun is insane. Best gun in the game, imo.

Finished the final 3 missions last night...man they were fun.
Lucked out and got randomly paired with a good full group on Grand Central Station and we stayed together and knocked out Russian Consulate and the UN final as well.
Got a ton of great gear and basically tripled my DPS and health. I was at about 20-25k in each when I started and am pushing 70k now.

I had a couple last night that it happened. I damaged him each time (it was the Lexington Tunnel mission). He'd get a headshot on me and drop me, nobody would revive me. Once he died, I'd revive and have no loot from him. Frustrating as hell.

Nice. I got a sweet Navy MP-5 (purple) that had a base dps of 70K. Thing is pretty fun.
