It takes 2 teams to make it a “competition”. I meant the international team, but probably would have had DJ, Bryson, Koepka, P. Reed, Gooch considered for US too.

Brooks’ last top 10 in any event (including LIV) was when he made the quarters at the WGC Match Play. In real tournaments (I’m excluding the Hero) he has two top tens since the Open last year.
He would not have been on this team. Bryson, I would consider unlikely to make this team, but that wouldn’t completely surprise me.

And DL3, who picked the team, wouldn't listen to one second of it. Bryson and Keopka are on the team if they are still Tour players, whether you or I or anyone else thinks it's a good idea or not.
