I just hit a bucket experimenting and was flushing everything with an open stance.

It felt like I could get around a lot easier and the plane felt good.

I didnt have anything go way right or cut really bad like I thought.

the alignment felt better too, the clubface looked better to my eye with an open instead of square stance.

I am open my stance up a bit on my irons to get rid of my hook.

Same

I noticed my natural stance is almost closed which was leading to draw/hook. Partial just a mental thing. It’s almost uncomfortable for be to open up just out of fear of slicing

My miss is a bad slice. I'll drop my back foot 4-5 inches behind the front and close my stance to prevent it

I turn my front foot at a 45 degree angle to perpendicular when I hit my driver. Allows me a fuller shoulder turn and also to load up on my back leg at the top of my backswing, adding distance.

I open for touch wedge shots inside 100. Everything else, I am insanely closed. Think Gary Player but more

I hit everything with an open stance, it’s just what feels comfortable for me. If I’m trying to hit a draw purposely I’ll sometimes close my stance, but pretty rare

you must come way from the inside. I was doing the same and started hitting some hosel rockets. Someone pointed that out and I opened my stance up for next two days I felt dialed in. After that, it created some issues with weight transfer for me. Funny game, hopefully it works for you.

If I have a hole that has trouble on the right, I’ll open my stance to try to pull it it left or keep it left.

I'm square on everything. If I want to hit a cut or fade, I drop my front foot and open my stance. The more I drop it, the more it fades. If I need to hit a dar, I drop my back foot.

Same swing, but opening and closing just changes the path. I line up like normal for where I want the ball to end up before I move my feet.

<——— especially with my driver.

ETA: Technically I’m “square” but my toes are pointed outward. Like Jimmy Walker, Andrew Loupe, etc.

Were your hips and your foot line both open? When I start hitting hooks I’ll set up with my feet open and my hips square and it seems to help. If I set up with hips and feet open I just hit huge fades and pulls
