Outside of Cam2’s location and greens it’s one of the best layouts in the state. Their greens on the front are tiny tiurtle backed weed patches. Their tee boxes are rough too. Very little fairway grass on the whole course.

Yes they are bad....they tend to come and go. And for some damned reason, I actually putt them well

How bad is the LSU course now? Is it even worth 25-30

Everyone that ever comments on that says it’s terrible.

Damn. I saw the report above saying Webb is bad too. Trying to find somewhere to play a quick solo round tomorrow morning

Just played the Mill. Slight hint of weeds on some of the greens but other than that they are rolling great. Hopefully they can knock those out before winter rolls around...

Lots of good options. The Island is awesome, or Clark is a cheap but good place. Haven’t heard anything about Santa Maria lately.

Love the Island. Was going to try Santa Maria but they didn’t have any tee times early enough.

Clark and City Park are the two Br courses I’ve never played. From reading on here sounds like Clark isn’t too bad

Clark is a fun course and the greens are mostly good. City is easy and has some hills, which is fun, but the greens aren’t good.

Holy shite yall were not lying about LSU. I went out of convenience and it was so much worse than I expected. I figured everyone on here was over exaggerating, but unfortunately yall were not. The tee boxes were basically like the rough at a decent course and the fairways had clumps of grass all over them. The greens which obviously aren’t great, were the strongest part of the course.

If that’s the level of effort they are giving it, they should just shut it down and make it a parking lot.

Nice!

Greystone is fully recovered from aeration. Their greens are rolling very well.

Had a meeting off 61 today so hit balls at Clark after work their putting and chipping green are in great shape. Went and looked at 9 and it looked great from the cart path.
Range has all kind of weeds taking over the Bermuda.

Played Eunice Country Club and Koasati Pines about 6 days ago. And played Belle Terre and Riverlands about 4 days ago.

•Eunice - Greens are on the slower side but healthy. Fairways were surprisingly really good.

•KP - was exceptional. For the speed, lack of grain, smoothness of roll… it might be the best greens I’ve played this year. Fairways were immaculate and the bunkers were good too. Highly impressed.

•Belle Terre - Greens were healthy and very smooth, but extremely extremely slow. I know they horrified a few weeks ago and they have healed, but they are still incredibly slow.

•Riverlands - faster than Belle Terre but not near as healthy. Very bumpy. There’s not a ton of dead patches but rather it’s like a square foot of green has less blades of grass than it should.
