Watching Randy and Neil enjoy their round last fall, I decided it was time to revisit an old friend. Would imagine the driver stays in the bag for the whole round. Should be fun.

Hit driver on 2, 3, 6, and 7. I played it a ton during covid. Carried a driver, putter, 5i, 8, 9, pw, 60. 3 balls.

If it was in better shape, it'd be a lot of fun to play, imo

That was a good watch. I had no idea City Park was a Tom Bendelow course. He was the “Johnny Appleseed” of American Golf. Spaulding company hired him to travel around the country and “design” golf courses for a nominal fee... he’d show up for a day or two, put out stakes where tees and greens should be and leave completion plans behind. Was a huge part of the game of golf growing in the US. Medinah is prob his most famous work. Neat history

BRCC is Bendelow, at least in part.

7 one of the wildest par 4s out there to me.

The tee shot is wild.

I love hole 3 for some reason with the houses lined up on the left.

I played that course almost everyday while at LSU.

I always liked #6. Cool green perched on a ridge.

I like playing city park with a 5i as longest club.

5i, 8i, wedge and putter. Easy to carry four clubs.

No driver. Course can be played without it. I am having a blast out here...fun quirky golf course and would play this course all the time if I lived in the area.

Is the internet wrong and BRCC isn't a Bendelow?

Last I remember, there were significant renovations done out there.

I've only played it twice and enjoyed both rounds.

They have a ton of golf content. The Tourist Sauce videos are really good in the later seasons in terms of quality. But the early seasons are still a fun watch.

Par 1st 9.
Birdie 2cd 9.

Fun course. Greens are rough shape...but that is what makes it unique. Old time, target golf. Had a great time.
