There are a lot of blind spots on that course, hence why they have screens on the cart indicating where the carts in front of you are.
And just because my light turns green, doesn't mean I just proceed into the intersection.

I’ve only played The Homestead course on 285 in the almost 3 years I’ve lived here haha.

Ok Straw Man. I’m not even going to engage you anymore in this thread. I bet you think wearing Levi’s while golfing is ok too.

Haha I’ve played that one a few times, one of those courses where you can take your shirt off and golf.
What part of Colorado are you in?

Lakewood. Kipling and Jewell area

Nice man, I’m in Cap Hill. You should go play the River Course in Keystone. Most beautiful course I’ve ever seen.

The guys that roll up in their cart and want to start shite are the ones usually wearing Levi’s.

Lol, so if you got hit with a golf ball you wouldn’t go back and say something to them?

I would have immediately pulled the cart back up the hill so they could see another group was still down there.
If they gave the “apology wave” I would have kept playing. If they ignored and the second guy hit, I would have gone back and said something.
If I was the one that hit into them, I would have caught up with you and apologized.
It clearly wasn’t intentional in your case, so there’s no real need to go back to start shite like you wanted to do.

You are missing the point. It is the etiquette of the game.

The etiquette of the game would also apply to people who want to curse others out and park their carts in known blind spots, no?

I had a guy hit a ball into my cart then have the nerve to yell me for taking his ball.

Did they yell “fore” ?
If so, I mean It sucks, but there’s nothing else to be said.
If not, then you have a legit gripe. And you either keep the ball or hurl it into the woods.
IMHO

There was no fore, the guy I was playing with thought I got stung by a bee and then he came back and found the ball in the back of the cart.

Were they on your arse all day? Did your group take a lot of time on that hole? Were they hitting into your group before this?

Granted, it was a blind shot, but the golf carts have screens that show where the carts are.
They don't show other cart groups most of the time.
Still have to drive up and check.
More places need bells to announce you're clear. Simple.

I know it wasn’t malicious. It is irresponsible. If it had been 1 foot higher it would have hit me in the back of the head. Have you ever been hit by a golf ball?
I got to watch up close a buddy get hit right beside his left eye. We were in a group, all standing around our carts waiting on one of our guys t hit his 2nd shot in the fairway. The dude hit a low, pushed out 3W, and he hit it hard.
Hit my buddy that was 20 yards away right in the face.
His eye was swollen completely shut before we got to the green. Huge frickin knot on his face.
Kept cold beer cans on the swelling. He finished the round like a trooper.

Were you keeping pace with the group in front of you?
